| Short summary of activities and expertise | I have a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (Goa Engineering College, India) and a masters degree in Construction Technology and Management (National Institute of Technology, Surathkal-India). Following are my research interests: Design Management, Generative Design, Value in Design, Lean Construction. My Ph.D. work consists of two main parts: Part-1 is the formulation of a Means-Ends Chain based framework for explicating the relationship between design attributes of a built facility and human values. The second part of the work involves the development of a Generative Design based model, that uses the relationship between design attributes and human values and performs a values-based layout exploration. One journal publication is under review (accepted) in the Journal of Architectural Engineering (ASCE). In addition I have 3 international conference publications and 2 national conference publications. Currently, I am in thesis writing stage and working on another journal publication on the topic of Generative Design. My other research interests include Construction Planning and Lean Construction related topics. |

| Other relevant achievements | Won best paper award at the 'The 6th World Construction Symposium 2017' held at Colombo- Sri Lanka. I have presented parts of my Ph.D. work at IGLC conference 2018 and 2019 and also participated in the Ph. D. summer school organized by IGLC. I have participated in the organizing of the IGLC conference that was held in Chennai, India. I was a Teaching Assistant in several Lean courses organized by IIT Madras and participated in an academic conclave that focused on the development of Lean Construction course in India. I was also a Teaching Assistant in the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) online course on Project Planning and Control in India. I was a visiting doctoral scholar at Alto University, Finland where I worked under the supervision of Dr. Vishal Singh in the area of Generative Design. I have 9 months industry experience in Project Coordination and 1 year 8 months teaching experience of teaching Construction Management courses. |
