Short summary of activities and expertise | I worked as Postdoctoral Researcher at Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and as Technical Engineer in a textile processing and production plant. I hold a doctorate degree in Environmental Science from Zhejiang University. Prior to that, I completed a Masters in Environmental Engineering from Kunming University of Science and Technology, Kunming, China, and Bachelors in Textile Engineering from Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan. Research: My primary research is focused on environmental functional materials (biochar, graphene, carbon nanotubes), adsorption and membrane technology for water decontamination, treatment and desalination. I have experience in composites, membrane fabrication and surface design for application in environmental water treatment. During my postdoc research, I worked on solar water desalination and energy generation as a part of my postdoc research project. |
