Short summary of activities and expertise | Currently, I am working on estimating the service life of the concrete structures subjected to chloride and carbonation-induced corrosion. My expertise includes characterization of materials at the microstructural level, electrochemical assessment of embedded steel reinforcement in carbonated cementitious materials. Also, I have experience in developing models using statistical tools and I had developed a framework to estimate the probabilistic service life of reinforced concretes subjected to corrosion. Looking forward to suggesting suitable measures to extend the life expectancy of concrete structure to acheive the goal of sustainable construction. |
