By agreeing to the following terms and conditions you grant your consent to the processing of your personal data by the National Science Centre with its registered office in Krakow, including your name, academic degree/title, employer details, telephone number, e-mail address and description of your research interests (hereinafter referred to as the: “Personal Data”) and you confirm to be aware that:

1. the National Science Centre (“Centre”) with its registered office in Krakow at ul. Twardowskiego 16, 30-312 Kraków, is the controller of your Personal Data;
2. the Centre will process your Personal Data pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU L 2016, No 119, p. 1), hereinafter referred to as the „Regulation”;
3. should you need any information on your Personal Data and/or other rights to the Personal Data processed by the National Science Centre, you should contact the Centre’s designated Data Protection Officer via electronic mail at iod@ncn.gov.pl;
4. your Personal Data will be processed for the purposes of:
   a. establishing new cooperation between individuals and institutions, which can lead to the submission of a proposal under POLONEZ BIS Calls,
   b. publishing a searchable database on POLONEZ BIS website;
5. your Personal Data disclosed in the Partner Search Tool will be available to other parties registered in the tool and to all individuals visiting the POLONEZ BIS website;
6. your personal data may be transferred for processing to third party companies or individuals commissioned to provide services. Such third parties process data based on personal data transfer contracts, and are also obliged to keep the data being processed confidential;
7. your Personal Data disclosed in the Partner Search Tool will be processed until May 31, 2026 (the end date of the POLONEZ BIS programme);
8. you have the right to request access to your Personal Data from the NCN, correct your Personal Data, remove it and/or restrict the processing of your Personal Data, and you can also object against the processing of your Personal Data and transfer your Personal Data for processing;
9. you have the right to remove your consent to the processing of your Personal Data at any time, without breaching the right to the processing pursuant to the consent before it was revoked;
10. you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office if it is found that your Personal Data is processed incorrectly or in breach of your Personal Data processing purposes;
11. provision of your Personal Data is optional but necessary to achieve the purpose of the Partner Search Tool.
