Short summary of activities and expertise | During my time at UW-Madison, I assisted Prof. Dr. Joe Salmons and Prof. Dr. Catherine Stafford on the Wisconsin Heritage Languages Project. The projects aim is to document and record evidence of Ethnic Heritage Languages that are present in Wisconsin (German dialects such as Platt or Pomeranian, including also "Wisconsin German"; Spanish; French; Polish). During the project, I contacted, interviewed, documented, and researched several vibrant and declining heritage languages communities in Wisconsin. |
